Dr. Welfel is a cum laude graduate of the College of New Jersey and a graduate of Temple University Kornberg School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Bergen County Dental Association. Dr. Welfel is fluent in Spanish and French. Dr. Welfel focuses on treating children and adults and believes that excellence in patient care can only come through commitment to education and clinical excellence. Her training, education and skills show a wide breadth of knowledge and ability. That way she can provide the highest quality of care to you.

Monica started her dental career in 2005 as a front desk administrator. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1982 with a Bachelor's degree. After many years in the dental field, she moved on to be a dental office manager and patient coordinator. She is multifaceted in every aspect of the dental care. She performs a number of services with great attention to detail, including Insurance benefit utilization, financial arrangements and schedule coordination.
